Through the 11-day MCCRE the Marines are tested and evaluated whether in the defense and providing security or conducting mechanized assaults on objectives. The MCCRE helps prepare the battalion for its upcoming deployment with the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command later in the year.
