KC-135 Stratotankers from the 22nd Air Refueling Wing take off from McConnell Air Force Base due to threat of severe weather. Air Force officials ordered the evacuation of aircraft as a precaution. The aircraft are being disperse to Fairchild and Grand Forks AFB. They will return to McConnell when it is safe to do so.
