The F-35 Lightning II DT-II testing was conducted aboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) from October 2-10.
The team wrapped up its carrier suitability and integration testing of the F-35C and all of its logistics test and evaluation (LT&E). DT-II featured 66 catapults and 66 arrestments across 17 flights, logged 26.5 flight hours and achieved a total of 280 flight test points and 17 LT&E test points.
DT-II is a series of test events designed to gradually expand the aircraft operating envelope enabled the team to conduct routine F-35C operations in preparation for Navy F-35C initial operating capability (IOC) in 2018.
