Aircrew from the 7th Airlift Squadron and 4th Airlift Squadron, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, perform a formation flight during Exercise Mobility Guardian. More than 3,000 Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and international partners converged on the state of Washington in support of Mobility Guardian.

“Our ability to move national power to any location is key to the security of the United States,” said Gen. Carlton D. Everhart II, the Air Mobility Command (AMC) commander. “Mobility Airmen are often the first to arrive and the last to depart a forward operating location. They provide continuous support to the joint warfighter.”

The exercise is intended to test the abilities of the Mobility Air Forces to execute rapid global mobility missions in dynamic, contested environments. The exercise is designed to sharpen Airmen’s skills in support of combatant commander requirements.
